this is an awesome TV to have at the kids room, the image quality is AWESOME (exactly what you would expect from a Samsung product)
I Highly recommend you get some HDMI cables (if youre looking to optimize the picture quality when using this product with an XBOX 360, or any other game console)

PS if you're looking to buy a Television of this dimension (26 inches) then get the 720p as there is no major difference between 720p and 1080p in this size.. now if youre looking to get a television from 35 inches or bigger now I would higly recommend you look at 1080 as the picture quality is highly noticeable..

Hi, This 32 inch Samsung TV will meet the expectations of people who don't want to shell out much money as compared to other RCA and some cheap brands which sold out on your local stores but want good looking and nice features in their TV. It has nice contrast, color and brightness combinations. Movie and dynamic modes will meet most peoples viewing criteria. Sound is also good enough and can be used in bed room without any home theater system or external speakers. Remote control has back lit feature to be use in dark room. Thickness as you see in pics is not bothering as it can hardly be seen from front and gives you the impression of slim TV. While connecting it to laptop you will require to adjust the screen resolution of your laptop to accommodate the complete picture on TV screen. Here I was stranded with a Sony piece of junk. For that, I shelled out big bucks a couple years ago sold over by the internal Blu-Ray player and Wi-Fi connectivity only to have it finally die on me last week. All those fancy-smancy Sony adds and paying pretty much top dollar for a 32", and I figured I'd at least get 5 years out of it. Nope. Blu Ray dies ~5 months ago. OK, I can live with that. Just buy an external one. This week, the channel and sound are not able to be changed unless I rebooted (i.e., unplugged and plugged) the TV. So I decide to give Samsung a try knowing how much I've always thought their computer monitors always struck me as better than others. After all, I'm just looking for a good image. I can live without all the other bells & whistles. Boy, if this thing can stand the test of time I won't go back. The picture quality is fantastic. It's got a Dynamic, Movie, and Standard Mode. Bought this TV for use in the bedroom for Netflix streaming only (don't actually have it hooked up to cable). So far it has met my expectations and works great. My house is wired with Cat6 Ethernet, so I literally had to plug the power cord and a network cable into the wall outlets and I was good to go.

Netflix setup was a breeze, was watching movies within a few minutes of first turning the TV on. The built-in Netflix app seems to have everything you would want (I could pick up right where I left off on a movie I had been watching on my tablet).

I only noticed a few glitches in the streaming and only once did it display a "rebuffering" screen. No complaints about the picture quality of the TV at all (I knew this wasn't going to be a fantastic 1080p 120Hz experience, but given what I'm using it for, there was no need to spend another $500 or more for that).

The set has plenty of features. The picture is of acceptable quality for the size and price of the set. But the Audio is horrible. The net applications are minimal, no browser. Netflix items take an inordinate time to load, but I have not tried it with the Set hardwired, that may make a big difference. The DLNA streaming works well, much better than my hardwired Samsung.

But as for the low rating; this is the forth LCD TV of approximately this size that I have owned, one other Toshiba, an Akai, and a Samsung. The audio in the others is fine, even in the other Toshiba. The sound seems to becoming out of a tin can with this one. Even after manipulating all the settings, something I have much experience with, it got no better. And quite often the sound crackles during transitions in audio level. Rather than return the TV I purchased a sound bar. The sound is so bad I wonder if I received a defective set.

This TV only worked for a month and then just refused to turn on! Screen is blank and I can't do anything with it. Really hoping this doesn't require shipping the TV off somewhere.

I bought the unit and was very skeptical due to the price point. But, I read the online reviews and felt confident enough to buy the unit. I was not disappointed at all. The unit appears to be made of sturdy construction. I thought the unit might be bulky, but it appears to have a profile similar to units costing over $100. The unit was fairly easy and straight forward to install. I am no craftsman, but I have some mechanical skill. If you are a do-it-yourself-er, there is no reason to spend $100 for a more expensive unit that does exactly the same thing. I was also very happy that the unit came with a large variety of screws, bushings, and washers. I did not need to hunt down my own screws or do any make shift adjustments. It bolted up clean straight out of the box. By the way, I used the kit to mount a 50" Panasonic Plasma.

I used this to mount a 40" Samsung LCD. This mount is just as sturdy as the one I used 4 years ago to mount my 42" plasma. The only difference is the price. This is a great buy.

Why should these items ever sell for $150 dollars. This one is sturdy; the parts fit all sorts of TVs; the instructions make sense. It's perfect.
